
Evolution Kickboxing is perfectly suited for individuals who want to learn “real world self-defense,” get in great shape and relieve excess stress. We call this “Fitness with a Purpose.” Students will learn all the best techniques involved in the striking arts of Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Boxing, Karate and Modern Tae Kwon Do. Even more importantly, students learn how to avoid strikes, block strikes and counter strikes thrown at them. Improvements in speed, power and overall accuracy will be constantly refined in this class. Expect to see further improvement in your stamina, flexibility and coordination.
Optional for the individual who wants to become a very proficient stand up striker, the Kickboxing class will also incorporate contact Kickboxing rounds. These individuals will have the opportunity to acquire safety equipment (hand wraps, boxing gloves, shin guards, mouth piece, ext.) and practice Kickboxing rounds with other students. This will enhance one’s training to include “real time” applications of both offensive and defensive fighting techniques.
The Evolution Kickboxing classes are taught by Professor Ryan L. Cook. With over 21 years of Kickboxing training, you can be assured to get the attention to detail necessary to achieve your goals of excellence.
