Some of the members of the Gracie Barra Evolution Competition Team prepare for battle at the COPA Grappling Championships. The team did an absolutely fantastic job bringing home countless Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. A notable contribution was BJJ Blue Belt, Michael Miller, submitting a BJJ Black Belt to win the Advanced No Gi Division. Way to go Mike!

I am so proud of the entire Gracie Barra Evolution competition team for their incredible performances at NAGA Tampa this weekend. In particular, my daughter, Savannah Cook, did a fantastic job winning first place in Gi and No Gi. My concern wasn’t whether or not she would win first, but that she had fun to set the stage for the future. She had fun, gave her second sword to her competitor and is ready to take on the Beginner Division next time. I couldn’t ask for any more!………Professor Ryan
